FASHION PROGRAM GRADUATES 

Where are they now? Read about just a few of our graduates and their successes in the fashion industry.

CEAZAR CABREROS

Graduated from Delta, went on to study at FIT in New York and graduated with a BFA, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He was a Freelance Designer at Bibhu Mohapatra, Yigal Azroel, David Meister and iMonique Lhuillier/JS Group International, and is now a designer with Marchesa. Ceazar was featured in three of the Designers Collection Shows at Delta and at Sacramento Fashion Week. His personal fashion style is often featured on the Sartorialist web site, as well as other sites feautring the best of fashion on the streets.

JENNAVAVE BARBERO

While at Delta, Jen served as Fashion Club President and received Dean's List honors every semester, graduating Cum Laude. She then went to CCA in San Francisco to complete her BFA in Fashion Design. She received honors and full scholarship and President's Circle honors. She moved to New York and was promoted to designer at BCBG/ELLEN TRACY, became design director in NYC for an outerwear manufacturer, left for Milan to be the manager of IED English program Fashion Design Module, teaching tech design, collection and methodology. She takes on many freelance projects, as well as making artisanal jewelry and working with a master furrier in fur season.

BILLY OLA HUTCHINSON

A Cum Laude graduate of Delta's Fashion Program, Billy left to complete his BFA at San Fracisco Art Institute. He worked as a stylist for Surface Magazine, Design and Production Specialist for Slips, Store Manager of Aria Antiques. and for Soolip as Gump's Department Manager, Buyer, & Calligrapher. He is now the Assistant Store Manager for Gumps, as well as an accomplished and renowned calligrapher & Stationer and an instructor of calligraphy in San Francisco.

NATASHA HANSEN

Natasha complete her AA and Certificate at Delta College. After an internship with R. Douglas Custom Clothier in Sacramento, she became Production Manager and led the company's new women's wear line of tailored clothing. She is starting her own venture soon, designing and producing women's tailored apparel. An accomplished designer, herself, she showed her design chops in the 2013 Designers' Collection Show, A Story of Fashion at Delta College in her final year there.

CAMILLE WALL

Camille graduated with her Certificate and AS in Fashion Merchandising and continued on to FIDM for a professional designation in Fashion Marketing and is working towards her BS at University of Pheonix in Business Management and Marketing. She has worked in retail management with Disney Baby and in Marketing for the Lodi Visitor's Bureay. She is now an adjuct faculty in the Fashion Program at Delta and freelancing in marketing for a variety of local companies.

MARK ERIC RODRIGUEZ

Graduated from Delta and UOP, moved to New York and received his MFA from FIT. He was a Design Associate ML Monique Lhuillier/JS Group Internationa and is now a costume designer for the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. He has also taught art at the New York Art Studio and completed a design intern with Adrianna Papell, where his work was featured

He received FIT's Critic's Choice Award in Eveningwear in 2011, was the First Place Scholarship Award in the San Joaquin Delta Designers Collection Show in 2008, Outstanding Student Award in the Fashion Program at Delta  in 2007 and 2008.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

KRYSTLE LI

After completing her degree at Delta, she went to Academy of Art in San Francisco completing her BFA in Fashion Design. She moved to LA and worked in design for companies including Wren, Rational Dress Society and Alexander Wang and was the Production Coordinator for Clare Vivier. She recently opened her own business, Jack's Goods, a company that designs and produces original pet accessories, made and sourced locally.

ROCHELLE MURPHY

Rochelle received her certificate and AA in Apparel Design from Delta College. Her design talent was obvious in all of the challenges she took on while in the program. In her final semester, she took an internship with Royal Robbins sportswear in Modesto, working on production and tech packs and was recognized for her talents. She moved to Texas and is a Technical Designer for Academy Sports + Outdoors.

LISA PERRIERA MARTIN

Lisa received her AS and certificate in Fashion Merchandising and went on to get her esthetician license at Paul Mitchell. She worked for Kharma Boutique and Spa in Stockton as an Esthetician/Professional Makeup Artist. with Lily's Salon in Sebastapool, in Northern California, and is now Esthetician/Lash Artist/Makeup Artist at La Bonita Pele Spa and Merchandiser at Chloe + Isabel. Her wok has been featured in the Designers' Collection shows for the past four years, as well as our photoshoots for San Joaquin Magazine and other press.

KARYN FAZIER

Karyn entered Delta's program as a successful blogger (Karyn Compiled) and newspaper reporter for the Lodi Sentenal. Working on her Fashion Merchandising certificate directed her interests towards visual merchandising. She took an internship with Anthropologie, working in their Visual department and became a Visual and Sales Specialist. She is now with White Plumb Apparel in Modesto as a Brand Manager/Stylist for the company.
