A STORY OF FASHION 2013
The 2013 show was held in the gorgeous Atherton Auditorium on the SJDC campus. The runway was 32' x 8' and was built out into the theater so the 700+ in the audience could see the amazing designs! Included in the 2013 show was a Red Dress Design Competition to draw attention to the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women Campaign. The dresses from that competition opened the show. In 2012, the show was held in Lincoln Center in a vacant retail space. It was intimate and elegant, featuring a gourmet reception with appetizers from the Culinary Program at Delta and wines and champagnes from Weibel Winery. The dimly-lit space featured a stainless steel runway, silver chiavarri chairs topped with VIP swag bags of an array of goodies. Some images from the 2012 show:
